Advanced Design Technology-1 is based on a three-dimensional inverse design method in which turbomachinery blade geometry is computed for a specified blade loading distribution. The resultant blading is designed in a short time frame. First the user inputs Meridional geometry, blade loading distribution, stacking and thickness distributions and fluid properties. Then they run the Inverse Design Solver. The post processor then allows visualization of the results and output of the geometry in a number of formats. The range of applications of this software is as follows:
