The Series 80 is an ignition supervision and safety system designed to for maximum operation safety. It can be used with either oil or gas fired burners. The system is available for new installations, or it can be furnished as a conversion kit to upgrade older ignition systems.
The Series 80 incorporates the best features of past ignitor control systems with new features developed with today's power plant in mind, such as:
- Simplified installation: The ignitor control cabinet is separate from the fuel train components. The control cabinet can be mounted where it is most easily accessible.
- Easier testing: The ignitor control cabinet has a complete internal test capability. All functions can be checked locally without the risk of unauthorized ignitor operation.
- Flexible design: Easily adaptable to existing applications. The Series 80 uses a flame proving system with ionic flame monitoring (IFM) for reliability. The ignition transformer features a "Sure Start" spark ignition.
