RWL Water Is Selected To Supply Water Treatment For A Power Plant In Chile

RWL Water will supply a plant to the power industry including UF as pre-treatment and SWRO desalination system to provide 2,400 cubic meters per day of high quality desalinated process water.

(PRWEB) The prestigious Korean EPC STX Heavy Industriesawarded the global water solutions provider RWL Water a project to supply water treatment for the Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) project it is executing in ENDESA C.E.L.T.A. power plant in Tarapaca, Chile. The new plant will provide 2,400 cubic meters per day of high quality desalinated process water.

The project design includes Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes as pre-treatment and a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination system, which will consist of two trains of desalination, energy recovery devices, pumps and instrumentation to ensure maximum reliability, and all associated ancillary systems.

“We are very proud to be a solutions provider to STXHI and to add value to this important project with our innovative engineering and state-of-the-art technology. We look forward to a successful project execution,” said RWL Water’s Michael Tramer, VP Sales & Marketing, Israel Operation.
