Bindicatorar Tracker, a microwave radar level control system, has a sanitary (two-in. NPT) quick-disconnect mounting. It transmits a signal that travels down a rod or cable-weight wave guide. Then the signal touches a mass of material with a dielectric constant above 10, the signal is reflected back up the wave guide to the receiver circuit.
Signal transmitting and receiving times are processed and the resulting 4-20mA signal is generated proportional to the tank level.
