FXTechnology is a proprietary print engine producing high-resolution alphanumerics, graphics and internal use barcodes. The engines are said to produce a dark, dotless print that meets print quality set by previous high resolution printing systems.

The products provide a ¾ in. (19 mm) image area for up to five lines of high-resolution text, and are constructed of stainless steel. Other features include an "ink-bleed" method for maximum ink usage, lower ink consumption rates, and the option of end-user field repair.

The fluid paths for the engines have been designed so air bubbles can be primed directly from the nozzles without the need for separate purge procedures.
