Premier Alliance Announces Agreement With Power Generation Services

Ability to integrate solutions, including cybersecurity, is key to agreement

New York /PRNewswire/ - Premier Alliance Group Inc. (OTCQB: PIMO) announced it has signed an agreement with Power Generation Services Inc. (PoGens) to provide fully integrated solutions to clients who want to monetize back-up power generation assets by participating in ISO-sponsored Demand Response Programs.

These programs, which allow customers to reduce operating costs and improve asset management capabilities, resilience and the ability to quickly respond to events, are the latest in a series of transactions enhancing Premier Alliance as a leading provider of cybersecurity, energy and business advisory solutions.

"This agreement provides a tremendous opportunity for Premier Alliance to serve a critical customer base in the energy sector," said Premier Alliance CEO Kent Anson. "This is another example of how Premier Alliance can bring comprehensive integrated solutions to clients and business partners across multiple sectors."

Under terms of the agreement, Premier Alliance will deliver tailored Backup Power Utilization Programs, based on PoGens' asset maintenance, management, response and proprietary software platforms that comply with new federal Environmental Protection Agency filing requirements. PoGens, based in Raleigh, N.C., is a turnkey provider of managed energy services for distributed generation and distributed energy resources to commercial customers in North America.

Anson noted that Premier is making a particular impact in the area of cybersecurity for key government and Fortune 500 clients, through its wholly owned subsidiary root9B. Recently, root9B entered into an agreement with a major multinational corporation to supply comprehensive cyber training and protection: http://boeing.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=20295&item=129048

"By adding a cybersecurity component to our suite of services, we're helping our clients in energy, banking and many other sectors to meet the challenge of cyber-attacks head on," Anson said.

In addition, root9B has been selected to develop and lead high-level cyber defense workshops sponsored by the National Institute of Building Sciences, scheduled for May 27-28 in Washington, D.C.
