GEA Modular Cooling Concepts, Inc. (MCC) was established in January 1999 as a subsidiary to GEA ICT. GEA MCC offers modular fiberglass cooling towers as an alternative to traditional wood towers. Because standard product components are used, delivery time is shortened and overall investment costs are reduced.

Modular towers are comprised of individual factory-assembled structural panels. The panels are shipped to the job site much like a prefabricated home. Field construction time is reduced by approximately 70%. A tower that once took three to four weeks to construct can now be fully erected in just one week.

Advantages to these towers include:

  • cost savings resulting from factory labor during
  • erection vs field labor
  • longer life than wood towers
  • modular tower fiberglass is normally less expensive than other materials
  • factory manufacture allows strict quality control andsafety practices during construction

Modular towers are good alternatives when you are facing:

  • poor water quality
  • space restrictions
  • short erection deadlines
