Bindicatorompany%> recently released the Pulse Point LP-30 level switch that detects granular, solid or powder materials with densities as low as 2 pounds/cubic feet. This level switch utilizes a "freely oscillating tuning fork" to detect the presence or absence of material in bins, tanks and silos.
This sensor does not depend on material electrical properties, instead it depends on the material's physical presence at the tuning fork. It does not require calibration. It can be installed into the application and does not need to make any sensing adjustments or to be recalibrated for changing material conditions inside the vessel.
The LP-30 also includes a Euro-Style Conduit entry (dual-conduit entry). This styling allows for ease of installation as well as the separation of input wiring and alarm wiring.
