Infrared (thermograghic) surveys are extremely cost effective and an excellent prelude to a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program
Infrared (thermograghic) surveys are extremely cost effective and an excellent prelude to a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program. An infrared survey is performed using heat sensing equipment known as an infrared imaging radiometer. The equipment displays an image on a monitor created from the heat emitted from an object. The thermal image can than be captured and reproduced as a picture known as a thermogram. AETCO's surveys include thermograms and corresponding photographic images of thermal anomalies discovered during the scan.

Infrared surveys are useful in any application where a temperature difference can be used to identify problem areas. Common applications include scans of electrical equipment, roofs and high temperature kilns.

At American Electrical Testing Co.,Inc. infrared surveys are not a sideline, they are part of our approach to a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan.
