The client contacted Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies to develop a competitive solution to design, build, install, operate, and maintain two new 400-GPM, ultra-high-purity demineralized water plants that would replace their internally operated, 25+ year-old, demineralized water plant at each of the two separate stations.
Located in Texas, the facility is an 825-MW natural gas combined-cycle production facility with 550 MW currently in full operation. The facility was originally designed to use demin trailers for boiler makeup water. However, due to increasing prices of the trailers, the customer decided to install permanent equipment.
