  • Various countries interested in purchasing additional trackers
  • Trackers allow a yield increase by up to 40 percent or more

The internationalization of KEMPER Solar GmbH has born its first fruits: KemTRACK solar trackers are going to be delivered to Greece, with additional deliveries to Israel and elsewhere slated for later this year. These sales represent shortly after the participation at various international trade fairs further export success. The solar trackers of KEMPER with module surfaces of 70 to 125 square meters allow, depending on the location, a yield increase by up to 40 percent or more relative to fixed solar modules. KEMPER will be unveiling an optimized version of its solar tracker at the upcoming Intersolar trade show in Munich from 8–10 June at stand 137, hall C4 as well as at the stand 280 on the open area.

"The appreciable international response we've had in recent months is a testimony to the efficiency of our technology. Thanks to this attribute, as a relatively new player in the solar tracker market we feel that we're also very well positioned on the international market," said KEMPER Solar division head Alexander Lenfers. KEMPER has also presented its products at solar trade shows in London, Istanbul and Athens.

"Sales of our KemTRACK products to Greece and Israel are a first sign of the success of these investments," said KEMPER GmbH chief executive Björn Kemper, adding that the company intends to continue pursuing its internationalization strategy at the upcoming Intersolar 2011 trade show and other shows later this year.

Declining solar power subsidies in many countries are making efficient use of solar modules increasingly important. Astronomically controlled trackers can be used at any location and under any weather conditions, since they determine the exact position of the sun based on the date and time and thus ensure that the PV modules are always optimally oriented. This allows for energy yield optimization of up to 40 percent or more.

KEMPER Solar will be unveiling a new generation of its dual-axis trackers at the upcoming Intersolar 2011 trade show. The new models are more stable and require a smaller amount of manufacturing materials. The new models come at attractive prices due to largely automated manufacturing using welding robots which also provide excellent quality, increased precision and stability even at high output. Thanks to an internet-based solution, the KemTRACK can be controlled via a computer or smartphone, thus affording solar park operators a high degree of control over their installations. "This solution simplifies the management process for both individual trackers and solar parks," says Mr. Lenfers.

KEMPER will be unveiling its new KemTRACK at Intersolar 2011 in Munich from 8–10 June at stand 137, hall C4, as well as outdoors at stand 280.
