At a minimum, the following vibration data points will be monitored at various speeds and loads during a controlled series of tests on your turbine-generator (or by changing operating conditions, depending on the situation) as required to give a comprehensive assessment of the overall vibration characteristic of the subject unit:

1.1 All data available from the turbines supervisory vibration instrument transducers (including the eccentricity transducer): unfiltered, peak-phase (running speed), and overall (spectral data, from 10 to 500 Hz.). This data is reported in displacement (mils).

1.2 Seismic data at all bearing pedestals in the axial, horizontal and vertical directions (unfiltered, peak-phase, and overall). This data is reported in velocity (inches/second).

1.3 Filtered data taken from the plant's TSI panel and the plant's master control (if it has one).

1.4 Any data required for verification of the above data or as needed to improve the accuracy of balance work (shaft riders, proximity probes, oil seals, couplings, jackshifts, exciter fans, collector rings, etc.).

1.5 A complete set of gap voltage data, if non-contact proximeters are used.

1.5.1 If orthogonal (or XY type) transducers are fitted, a shaft center motion diagram will be presented and evaluated for each measurement point.
