Flowserve, Flow Solutions Divisiongas barrier seal offers zero emissions and is specifically engineered to fit standard or small bore seal chambers without requiring pump modifications. The seal features Advanced Pattern Groove System face geometry for non-contacting seal face operation and a metal bellows design. The face pattern contains shallow grooves to provide both hydrostatic and hydrodynamic lift of the seal faces.
The seal is designed to provide zero product emissions performance even under off-design or dry running conditions that can cause sealless pumps to fail. The seal is suitable for applications in chemical processing, hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
