The PCI Mechanical Operations department is comprised of over 70 machinists. Most of the staff is based out of our Lake Bluff, Illinois Headquarters with the balance based out of our Virginia office. The regional Operations Managers run the daily operation of each of these groups.
Field machining capabilities include all forms of conventional machining such as sawing, drilling, milling, and turning. PCI also provides non-conventional forms of machining such as Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), Metal Disintegration Machining (MDM), and Abrasive Water Jet Cutting (AWJC). All of these machining capabilities have been used in both hands-on and remotely-operated applications.
