ET Energy Plans To Build A 61 MWp Solar Plant For UiTM In Malaysia

Nanjing, China / PRNewswire / - ET Energy, a World-Leading Developer and Operator in Green Power Generation, and Its Partner, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. ("NWEPDI") of the China Power Engineering Consulting Group today announced that they have signed a turnkey EPC agreement with UiTM Solar Power Sdn., A leading developer of photovoltaic solar systems, in which the three companies are committed to building a 61 MWp solar plant in Malaysia .

In Gambang (Kuantan district, Pahang state ), more than 220,000 solar panels are being installed on the 110- acre site. This project was awarded in the first round of the Large Scale Solar PV tendering program and the 61 MWp solar system is scheduled to go online by 2018. The green electricity generated by this solar system will be enough to supply more than 80,000 households.

As a supplier of turnkey power generation solutions, ET Energy will work with NWEPDI to deliver a complete solution, including engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance.
