CU Services LLC of high grade 316 SS material, the C-500 Diffuser is used to dissipate and distribute the explosive energy produced when a high pressure, high temperature stream of water undergoes a sudden pressure reduction. This system can be used in processes including boiler feedpump recirculation systems, boiler feedpump warm-up systems, boiler blowdown systems, and gauge glass cleanout lines. By breaking a single stream into multiple streams the diffuser allows the downstream fluid to absorb the implosive forces with a minimum of vibrations and noise.
