The Coupling Hole Alignment Tool (CHAT) is a system of hydraulically expanding tools that provide time saving and cost reduction in the aligning and closure of shaft couplings. Each tool is located in a coupling hole and alignment is achieved as the sleeves are expanded simultaneously. The coupling faces are then closed using the system in preparation for installing the coupling bolts.
