The ServoFluid control bearing uses 360° lubrication and pressurization. This forces the lubricant to move primarily along, rather than around, the shaft and yields a bearing with improved properties such as immunity to fluid-induced instabilities, and the ability to make adjustments to the machine's rotor dynamic properties easily in the field.
