N/Atational Fluid Dynamics Services (CFDS), a division of <%=company%>, has released the latest version of its general purpose CFD code, CFX 4, which is used throughout industry for the simulation of fluid-flow processes. The new version, CFX 4.1, furthers includes new physical models and advances in pre- and post-processing.

CFX 4.1's pre-processor, CFX-BUILD, is the result of a collaborative agreement between CFDS and The MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation (MSC). Based on MSC/PATRANTM, CFX-BUILD provides direct access to the major CAD software packages and can read IGES files from any CAD system.

The CFX 4.1 flow solver CFD software package can be used to simulate a wide range of fluid flow and heat transfer processes. For analysis of results, CFX 4.1 includes a graphical post-processor, CFX-VISUALISE, which is built around the well-established visualization software package, AVS. CFX-VISUALISE has full three-dimensional graphics, with light shading and hidden line removal, and allows users to achieve maximum understanding of their case.
