Ash Drag Conveyors

Ehrsam Submerged Ash Drag Conveyors (SDC's) collect, cool, convey and de-water hot bottom ash from industrial, circulating fluidized-bed and utility boilers and incinerators. Constructed of heavy-duty materials, these units can be custom designed to meet specific needs. The units range in capacity from 2.25 tph to 100 tph.

Features include

• shaft tensioning, which helps ensure measuring devices and pointers maintains parallel flight configuration during take up
• Herringbone-patterned wear plates line the bottom of the inclined (de-watering)section to direct runoff to the sides of the incline without disturbing the ash ascending on the following flights
• Forged steel chain is available in round link or pin-and-fork style, with Brinnel hardness between 400 and 600
• Inclined sections have slopes up to 40 degrees
• Water temperature is maintained at 140°F with automated re-circulation
