Pacific Fuel Cell Relocates MEA Research & Development To Ohio
Tustin, CA - Pacific Fuel Cell Corp., a specialty component manufacturer for the fuel cell industry, announced recently that it is relocating its Riverside, California-based membrane electrode assembly ("MEA") research and development facility to its 24,000-square-foot Willoughby, Ohio-based plant, effective immediately.
"We are centralizing our products into one facility to take advantage of our existing manufacturing structure," said George Suzuki, chief executive officer and president of Pacific Fuel Cell. "The relocation of our lab to Willoughby paves the way for the company to move from the research phase of nano MEA technology to the production phase.
"We believe Pacific Fuel Cell is the only fuel cell component company to offer bipolar plate manufacturing and MEA technology. This move provides us with greater opportunities to introduce our nano MEA platform to new and existing bipolar plate manufacturing customers, and prepares us for future growth opportunities," Suzuki added.
