Newark Mayor Salutes Innovation Fuels In State Of The City Address

Innovation Fuels, the renewable energy company with shovel-ready projects in New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin that manufactures, markets, and distributes second-generation biodiesel to customers around the world, was lauded for its clean fuel initiatives and green job growth during Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker's 2009 State of the City address earlier this week.

In the address, Mayor Booker remarked, "Newark is quickly moving onto the cutting edge of the green movement…with Innovation Fuels, a biodiesel fuel production facility in Newark and other green businesses coming, Newark is saving money, saving energy, saving our environment all while creating jobs and wealth in our City."

"We are very pleased to be working with the City of Newark and Mayor Booker to provide local New Jersey and New York customers with significant quantities of biodiesel product utilizing the Passaic River waterway and other methods of transportation," said Innovation Fuels CEO John Fox. "In addition to providing sustainable energy to the Northeast, we are also excited about having created green jobs in Newark and plan to add more green jobs as we continue our growth and expansion in the Northeast, at the Port of Milwaukee and throughout the United States."
