Accuracy was tested by first calibrating the sensor in air and then exposing it to calibration gases containing known concentrations of oxygen in nitrogen. The equivalent concentration of dissolved oxygen was calculated from the temperature, barometric pressure, and Bunsen coefficient. Thirty-two (32) sensors were tested over a range of concentrations likely to be encountered in a typical steam plant.
