Johnson Matthey Offers Total Emissions Control Package For Meeting EPA'S Rice Neshap In 2013
New Modulex HAPs brochure details company’s capabilities from converters to catalyst replacement
Johnson Matthey, the global leader in stationary emissions control technology, is offering a new 4-color, 8-page brochure that details the company's complete capabilities to help stationary diesel and gas engine owners/operators comply with the EPA’s RICE NESHAP regulations that go into effect in 2013.
The brochure is titled “Stationary Emissions Control Modulex Catalytic Converters; The winning combination for your stationary engines to achieve RICE NESHAP compliance in 2013.”
When it comes to RICE NESHAP compliance, Johnson Matthey not only offers its latest generation of Modulex HAPs catalytic converter/silencers, but also its HAPGuard exhaust pressure and temperature monitor to help ensure ongoing compliance; catalyst evaluation and replacement; and technical support before, during and after installation.

RICE NESHAP (Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants) sets the limits for emissions of hazardous air pollutants with formaldehyde as the regulated emission and CO as the surrogate emission.
The EPA has set the following dates for compliance:
Non-Emergency Diesel (CI) Engines by May 13, 2013.
Non-Emergency Gas (SI) Engines by October 13, 2013.
Johnson Matthey Modulex converters are designed to meet the specific formaldehyde and CO limits for your engine.
